Phillip Pope

Phillip joined the TEAL office in 2022 where he serves as a pre-education advisor and the coordinator for the Education Learning Community. Prior to working at UNC Charlotte, Phillip taught high school Social Studies for seven years and worked with first-year students at Campbell University for two years. Phillip is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and earned a Graduate Certificate in Secondary Social Studies from the Cato College of Education at UNC Charlotte.

In his spare time, Phillip loves watching English Premier League Soccer, playing tennis, baking, and spending time with his wife Sandra, and their son Henry.
