ELC Professional Development

Professional development is a key feature of the Education Learning Community. One of the goals of the program is to engage future educators through fun and intentional development opportunities that can be applied to their future classroom.

ELC students attend free monthly professional development workshops hosted by Kappa Delta Pi, the education honor society. These hour long sessions provide valuable tools to prepare students for the future classroom.

Visits to community partners provide an opportunity to learn how local educational venues support teachers and resources available to use inside and outside of the classroom.
