I am the Arts Education Specialist for the Cato College of Education and the College of Arts+Architecture. I serve as the academic advisor, placement coordinator, and curriculum contact for graduate and undergraduate licensure programs in K-12 Art, Music, Dance, and Theatre.
I earned a BS in Biology from Wake Forest and BM in Instrumental Music Education from Appalachian State. After teaching K-12 Music for Winston Salem/Forsyth County and Charlotte Mecklenburg, I earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Supervision from UNC Charlotte in 2010. I joined the University's team of academic advisors in 2013.
